1. PM-DAKSH scheme now merged into PMKVY; 1.87 lakh candidates trained between 2020-21 and 2023-24

   The scheme was meant for skill training and jobs for youth from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, EWS, denotified tribes and sanitation workers. According to the report, it no longer runs separately and is now part of PMKVY. So anyone looking for such training or job support should now check with training centres listed under PMKVY.
